About this event

This training will cover the importance of appropriate supervision in childcare. We will cover proper supervision at mealtimes, naptime, and during free play indoors and out on the playground. This training will discuss developmentally appropriate supervision for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children and NC Child Cares rules regarding supervision. Through scenarios, we will practice these skills and teachers will learn appropriate techniques to help keep the children they serve safe while in their care.

Presenter: Ruby Dillard, Technical Assistance Practitioner
