OUTbio June 2024 Event

Hello OUTbio,

It's almost Pride month and we are very excited to announce that our June OUTbio event will once again be hosted by founding sponsor Blueprint Medicines. The event will be held on Wednesday June 6th from 5:00-7:30 pm ET at their 45 Sidney Street location in Cambridge (Central Square).

The theme of Blueprint's Pride event is “Celebration”. As part of this, they will be bringing in some local queer groups to showcase what they do and maybe get some interested parties to join their activities or attend their events. Some of these groups include Stonewall Sports, Theater Offensive, and a local trans artist, Dani Bernstein.

Our events have been reaching capacity very quickly and in an effort to allow more OUTbio members to attend, registration will be limited to one ticket. Also, if you register to attend but your plans change, please cancel your registration so that others from the waitlist can attend.

As we have done for the past few events, we will be holding some "tickets" for those that have NEVER attended an OUTbio event. Please email Ramsey at ramsey@outbio.org if you are unable to register for this event before it reaches capacity and have not attended previously.

Also, as was stated at the Lilly event in April, one of our commitments in 2024 is to create an even more safe and inclusive environment for members of the LGBTQ+ community, especially at our monthly events. To that end, we will be actively trying to get more women and people of color (POC) to attend our events. If you know a woman or POC that is not a member of OUTbio and/or has never been to one of our events, please email Ramsey at ramsey@outbio.org. The individual will receive a personal invitation to join OUTbio's mailing list and will be manually registered for the next OUTbio event, even if the Eventbrite event is sold out.

Just a note that this event is not to be confused with our May 21st event at Sanofi. Also, just a reminder that OUTbio is walking in the Boston Pride for the People Parade on June 8th. Registration is still open for the Parade on Eventbrite.

As always, the event is invitation only so if you know of someone that would like to attend but is not a member of OUTbio please have them email Ramsey at ramsey@outbio.org.
