Enoch Pratt Free Library is thrilled to partner with Our Time Kitchen to bring you a summer series of hands-on culinary workshops. Each second Monday of the month, a featured chef from Our Time Kitchen will share their food journey and a favorite dish they love to cook. You will have the opportunity to see first hand the step-by-step process they take in making one of their favorite recipes. There will be opportunities to help prepare and taste the final dish, and everyone will take a complete recipe home.
For the first session in our series, join Chef Kiah, co-founder of Our Time Kitchen and owner of the Wilde Thyme food truck. Kiah’s passion for food started through farming, with seasonal ingredients shaping the way they prefer to cook. They love to forage and tap into ingredients that are in abundance in and around Baltimore. They have been a practicing Doula, or birth worker, for three years and this practice has influenced them to incorporate more herbalism and healing foods into their cooking. They are a lover of Sci-fi and disrupting “business as usual” and this shows up in the events they put on at Our Time Kitchen.
This event is part of Pratt Test Kitchen, celebrating the diversity and creativity of Baltimore’s culinary scene through a wide range of free events and programs for all ages.
