About this event

The Sacramento Adventure Playground is a free after-school program where you can be the boss of your own fun! We're inspired by playgrounds in Europe and offer a unique space unlike anything else in the US.

Think of us as a giant "maker lab" just for kids. We have real tools like paints, clay, hammers, and even saws (with adult supervision, of course!) so you can build anything you can imagine.

Here's a sneak peek at our latest project: We're building a walking bridge over our mud pit, making it even more awesome for exploring! This bridge will be a permanent part of our space and even become an obstacle in our annual Dirty Kid Obstacle Race!

We're located at the Maple Neighborhood Center (3301 37th Avenue, Sacramento). We're the last building on the right on 37th Avenue, coming from Franklin Blvd. Feel free to bring your kids along to unleash their creativity!

Everyone is welcome. Portable restrooms are available on-site. Feel free to bring your own bottled water to stay hydrated throughout the day. Please dress for the weather in closed-toe shoes only.
