About this event

St. Mary's Food Bank is a pillar of our community, dedicated to ending hunger in Arizona. They achieve this by collecting and distributing food, while promoting self-reliance, collaboration, education, and advocacy. Through individual and corporate donations, as well as grants, they provide meals to families across 9 of Arizona's 15 counties. St. Mary’s Food Bank believe in the power of volunteers and building strong community relationships to improve the lives of Arizonans in need.

Volunteers will be tackling tasks like loading food into shopping carts and family vehicles, packing fresh produce for easy handling, sorting food items and assembling Kids Cafe meals.

Dress Code: Closed-toe shoes like sneakers or boots are required for safety reasons (no sandals, flip flops, etc.). Shirts must have sleeves (no tank tops).

Portable restrooms are available on-site. Feel free to bring your own bottled water to stay hydrated throughout the day. Minimum age to volunteer is 12 with an adult or 16 without adult supervision.

After our service project, join us for a no-host gathering at State 48 Brewery, conveniently located just a mile down the road from the food bank:
