Ostara/Spring Equinox Zoom Circle

Circling TogetherUsing Spiral to Heal Self, Community and Earth,is created and facilitated by Gretchen Pangilinan and Tekla Ayers, and is a healing community, using circle and ceremony, following the Celtic holidays, which honor the cycles of the Earth. We use the tool of Usui Reiki to build community and connect to Life Force Energy. The sacred, age old symbol of the Spiral is a bridge between these two traditions. During ceremony and circling together, we will explore the spiral symbol, the Celtic traditions, and the Hands on Healing practice of Usui Reiki. Melding these together in an easy, succinct, natural way to bring powerful healing to Ourselves, those who surround us and Mother Earth, in our EVERYDAY lives.Between February and September 2020, we are gathering in Circle, offering Celtic Ceremonies and Reiki 1 and 2 weekend workshops. This will give an introduction to our teaching and a taste for the year-long program will. Each class and workshop is available to anyone interested and is independent of one another and the year-long program.TheCircling Togetheryear-long program will begin with Samhain, the Celtic New Year, & Reiki 1 Weekend (October 2020) and end with a weekend retreat over the weekend of Mabon, the Autumn Equinox, while learning Karuna Reiki. We will close with a final Reiki Share on October 21. We will traverse eight weekends celebrating Mother Earth in the Celtic tradition, learning how to bring this fully into our lives. Within five of these celebratory weekends, you will receive Reiki Attunements as a way to bring healing into your life as well as the world around you. Circling Together is hosting our second Celtic Circle Celebration with the Spring Equinox- please join us for a Zoom Circle as we grow this community, during a time of social isolation, we can still come together. We will honor the Earth&#x27;s cycles and celebrate the balance of light and dark as the sun begins to tip the scales, and the return of new growth is near. A point of perfect balance on the journey through the Wheel of the Year. Night and day are of equal length and in perfect equilibrium - dark and light, masculine and feminine, inner and outer, in balance.  The natural world is coming alive, the Sun is gaining in strength and the days are becoming longer and warmer. The gentle whispered promise of Imbolc is fulfilled in the evident and abundant fertility of the Earth at Ostara. It is time for the hopes of Imbolc to become action. The energy is expansive and exuberant. It is the first day of Spring! Ostara takes its name after the Germanic goddess, Eostre/Ostara, who was traditionally honoured in the month of April with festivals to celebrate fertility, renewal and re-birth. Do I hear whispers of Easter in those words? There is so much to explore, delve into and honor. Join us for this day long ceremony with ritual, guided meditation, checking in and sharing, and finding clarity as we step into the spring energy, while circling together.We will share some brief meditations and inspiring readings about Equinox and Spring, and especially give each participant time to check in and connect with others in the circle.
