Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 4, and join us for the 13th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson. With your help, we aim to reach new communities, engage new volunteers, and restore additional stretches of shoreline. Is there a location in your community in need of cleanup, removal of invasive plants, or another type of restoration project?Last year we worked at 125 locations, and we can’t wait to do it again.Here are ways to get involved:Organize a project. Interested in leading a project at a park or shoreline in your community? Submit theSweep Leader Interest Formand we’ll reach out with more information about next steps.Suggest a location. Is there a park or shoreline in your community in need of a cleanup? If you know of any areas that are overrun with litter or invasive plants,let us know.Volunteer. Interested in pitching in? Submit theVolunteer Interest Formto receive updates about volunteering, locations, and logistics.Be a sponsor. Do you own a business interested in helping restore the Hudson River?
