About this event

Organizational Mindfulness is an entirely new category of mindfulness-based intervention (MBI), designed to teach mental and emotional skills for personal and organizational performance. Our students learn traditional principles and practices through an all-science lens, and apply them to develop critical work capabilities and solve real-world business problems.

If you have any questions about the program, please contact us here, or schedule a call here.

Who Should Attend

This public program is open enrollment for individuals and teams of any size and proficiency level, with no prerequisites. Neural training and mindfulness are critical new skills for human capital and operating leaders, educators, and coaches - and can be transformative for their clients, teams, and organizations.

Organizational Mindfulness is approved for continuing education credits by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).

Learning Objectives

Mindfulness is a series of mental and emotional skills that extend well beyond stress management. Organizational Mindfulness is a rigorously secular, all-science, experiential course for high-performing leaders and high-potential learners.

It provides a comprehensive introduction to the latest insights in neuroscience, biology, and psychology - a modern, effective, and simple-to-follow framework of practice - and hands-on instruction in awareness, breath control, focused and open attention, emotional management, visualization, and insight meditation.

As importantly, it teaches the practical application of mindfulness to human challenges at work, including overload and overwhelm, stress and anxiety, digital distraction and ADD, negative mindset, unconscious bias, conflict, exhaustion, and burnout.

What Our Students Say

“As a formally trained meditation and mindfulness teacher, this program gave me the science behind the transformation made possible through mindfulness. It provided me with the data necessary to convince our Senior Leadership Team, and the tools and resources to achieve the ROI that I had promised! I’m very grateful for the knowledge, thought leadership, and the relationships developed during my time with IOSM!” - Cydney Goodin, Training & Development Specialist, BFA Industries
“I studied for 16 weeks with IOSM to earn my OM Teacher Certification, and was impressed from start to finish. The course exceeded all my expectations - from the breadth and depth of information taught, to the kindness and commitment of our teachers, and the unlimited access to expert coaching outside of class. The curriculum is an engaging blend of theory and practice that has greatly enriched my personal mindfulness practice, and my professional coaching work with clients. Thank you IOSM for creating such a wonderful life experience!” - Hilary Spreiter, Executive Leadership Coach, at Chief & Unleash
“Organizational Mindfulness breaks the huge topic of mindfulness (both personal and in organizations) into practical and actionable lessons and steps, with great coaching support and daily reminders to practice. The weekly classes are outstanding, and offer plenty of time for discussion as well as practice. I highly recommend this course both for beginners and those more experienced with mindfulness, especially those interested in integrating it into their workplace.” - Susan Hardwick-Smith, Founding Partner at Complete Midlife Wellness Center
“IOSM has not only assembled a compelling business case for mindfulness in the workplace, it as developed solutions for some of the most intractable human capital challenges we face today. This body of work is a great gift to all who work inside organizations. Its practices create greater well-being and satisfaction at work, not to mention vastly more empowered work relationships and more human-centric work environments” - Susan DeGenring, Leadership Coach & Strategist, Founder at Still Mind Coaching
