Where can I find the Zoom link for this training?

Our team will send you an email 24 hours before the training is scheduled to occur with critical information, including the Zoom link. This email will come from QPR@linesforlife.org. Be sure to check your junk folder!

Why do I need to provide an emergency contact?

Material covered in this training includes discussion about suicide and mental health, which we recognize can be sensitive topics. Safety is a priority for all audience members during our training, so we ask for an emergency contact as part of our safety protocol.

Question 3

Will there be another opportunity to attend a public QPR training offered by Lines for Life?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We offer 2 to 3 public trainings per month. These events are published about four weeks before the date of the training. Visit our main Eventbrite page to see all upcoming events.

Question 4

How long is my QPR gatekeeper certification valid for?

Accepted Answer

Certification remains active for 2 years from the date you were trained. Depending on your organization, they may require you to take this training more frequently (for example, once a year).

Question 5

Can I attend this training if I'm not a resident of Oregon?

Accepted Answer

No. This training is intended for individuals that currently work or reside in the state of Oregon. If you do not meet this requirement, let us know. We are happy to help find a QPR training being offered in your area. Please contact us at QPR@linesforlife.org.

Question 6

What do I need to have in order to participate in this training?

Accepted Answer

In order to participate in this training, you will need to have access to technology that allows you to join a Zoom meeting.

Question 7

Do I need to have my video on for this training?

Accepted Answer

We request that you have the ability to have your video on during this training, but if you are unable to have video you can still participate.
