About this event

Join me for two weekends this spring to explore the world of court-connected parenting plan mediation! We will virtually meet for two weekends, May 17-19 and May 31- June 2. Each Friday from 1:00-5:00 pm PT and each Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am-6:00 pm PT with an hour lunch break at 1:00.

In this class you will have the opportunity to explore Oregon requirements for parenting plans and some of the common issues that arise and the similarities and differences between court-connected mediation and other models. We will look at the concerns about safety, trauma, or equity that most frequently arise and brainstorm ways to keep our clients feeling comfortable and heard. And you will have ample time to practice your core skills and begin building your style through simulations and observation.

This class will meet all the requirements laid out in UTCR 12 to become a court-connected family mediator and is intended for those who already have a basic mediation certificate or relevant professional experience in a related field to build on.
