The Orange County Workforce Development Board (OCWDB) in partnership with the Orange County Community Services - Workforce & Economic Development Division's Rapid Response Team, provides assistance to employees (Dislocated Workers) who recently have been, or will be, affected by a layoff or company closure. We provide assistance through an extensive presentation covering all benefits afforded to them once the layoff occurs. Benefits include:

OC Workforce Solutions Centers where dislocated workers can find free resources, such as access to computers and other equipment, resume assistance, job search, and labor marketing information

Access to workshops, career fairs and hiring events, and additional resources to career opportunities

On-The-Job Training

Unemployment Insurance Benefits
