Orange Button Developer's Conference

The SunSpec Alliance is a trade alliance of solar PV, energy storage and other distributed energy resource  industry participants, together pursuing information standards for the renewable energy industry. SunSpec standards address most major sub-systems and operational aspects of PV  and energy storage power plants on the smart grid—including residential, commercial, and utility-scale systems—thus reducing cost, promoting technology innovation, and accelerating industry growth. Over 100 organizations are members of the SunSpec Alliance, including global leaders from Asia, Europe, and North America. Membership is open to corporations, non-profits, and individuals. The Orange Button Initiative is a public/private partnership funded by the <A HREF="https://www.energy.gov/eere/solar/solar-energy-technologies-office" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">U.S. Department of Energy Solar Energy Technologies Office</A> and the more than 300 participating companies and 500 individuals who have given their time and expertise to build open data interchange standards for the Distributed Energy industry.
