The seminar will first give a short overview on the most important parameters of a wet grinding process. Afterwards we are going to discuss the advantages of the NETZSCH pin type and disc type mills. Furthermore the influence of the pre mixing step will be explained. We are going to see production data for grinding and dispersing solvent based and water based product and how they can be improved by using NETZSCH equipment. Final part of the presentation will be the new machine control IRIS.

Dan McGee is an Application Manager for NETZSCH, who focuses on the Inks, Paints and Pigments industries. In 2015, he started working for NETZSCH Premier Technologies in Exton, PA. He first worked as an Inside Sales Engineer, supporting the Sales team equipment recommendations and technical support. Since 2022, he is responsible for developing and optimizing processes and equipment for the grinding and dispersing of Ink, Paints and Pigments in North America.
