“Where do I start?” “How do I start writing my Micro-segmentation rules?” These two questions are ones we encounter regularly. This workshop is dedicated to answering those questions, providing recommendations and real world examples of how to operational a Micro-segmentation initiative at your organization. 
We will review NSX componentry and then dive straight into Micro-segmentation design methodology followed by a look at the Distributed Firewall and Service Composer and when each tool is best to be used. We will follow up with real world customer examples of good rule building, bad rule building, and the impact of each decision. We’ll end the workshop going through each of the tools at your disposal to ease the day 2 operational process and quickly and accurately get NSX rule sets into place for your organization.

Persona/prerequisites: The customer should be an existing NSX customer/prospect  who has deployed NSX for vSphere and is interested in operationalizing micro-segmentation and is looking on guidance on how to go about. They should have basic working knowledge of NSX for vSphere. PM Team will vet each nomination to attend this workshop as space is very limited.

Note: This workshop is best for customers who have started their micro-segmentation journey or are mature in their microsegmentation deployments o create a 2-way dialogue in the room and learning from experiences.
