4th Annual Operation Jesus: Chicago on Christmas Day
It doesn't take a company, an organization or a church to give. Each person individually can join together to serve those in need. Join us on Christmas Day in Downtown Chicago as we give to others!
Let's break cultural and denominational lines to do what Jesus made so crystal clear in Matthew 25 ... When we serve the least of these, we actually do it unto him.
Bring your family, your church members, friends and neighbors to hand out care packages from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Christmas morning, Sunday, December 25. This event is free but registration is required.
Registration is now closed for Operation Jesus. We have over 80 volunteers registered! Find out how you can get involved in 2017. Email Linda at firstname.lastname@example.org.
NOTE: All volunteeers must attend a REQUIRED Logistics Call at 7 p.m. CT on Tues., Dec. 20 (The Conference dial-in information will be emailed after registration).
History of Operation Jesus: Chicago
It all started in 2012. One Christmas Eve, a group of new friends gathered blankets, sandwiches, chili, homemade cookies, and hygiene items and hit the streets of downtown Chicago to serve the poor and homeless. And we’ve been doing it ever since …
We currently have over 80 volunteers, individuals, family members and complete strangers that are registered. This year we even have three main sponsors! We will split up into walking and driving teams with designated maps and stop points to pour the love of Jesus on the streets of Downtown Chicago. Will you join us?
