We can probably all agree: Summer is too short and there is far too little opera in Ottawa.So, please celebrate the last of summer with us at our annual Opera Picnic. As every year, wonderful musicians from the Canadian Opera Company’s Ensemble Studio will perform in the garden of the German Ambassador&#x27;s Residence.This year, we want to dedicate our gathering to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people in their brave battle for freedom and sovereignty. We invite our guests to make donations to the Ukrainian NGO Tabletochki (https://tabletochki.org/en/). This organization provides cancer treatment for children in times of war. Please join us and please donate.As in the past, we are pleased to offer light drinks and snacks. Some chairs and benches will be available. You are welcome to bring your own. The event will take place rain or shine (but not during a thunderstorm); a tent is set up.Space is limited.Doors open at 5:00 pm.
