Angad Arts Hotel (AAH) is a wholly new hospitality experience that embraces the visual arts, performance, fashion, literature and gastronomy. About this EventPlease join us in celebrating two new exhibits Black Nonpareil &amp; Imperfect Pixels featuring 18 Black artists of Saint Louis.Each registered guest will receive two complimentary drink tickets and hors d&#x27;oeuvres.Black Nonpareil our Bi-annual Exhibit runs Nov 1st -April 25th throughout the hotel.Black Nonpareil is curated from the work of local and regional Black artists to amplify their voices and provide a platform to continue revelating conversations and the growth of our city through their work. The show features artwork from Jen Everett, Lola Ogbara, Cbabi, Kevin + Danielle McCoy, Tyler Davis, Vaughn Davis Jr., Noel Spiva, DeJoniero Jones, Dail Chambers, Kenya Mitchell, Cisqo Rodman, Blakk, Adrian Octavius Walker, Tiffany Sutton, Brock Seals and Jerel Canty.10% of artwork sales goes to All Black Creatives.Imperfect Pixels our Quarterly Exhibit runs Nov 1st-Jan 31st in the First Floor Gallery.A new solo show by Travis Sheridan, Imperfect Pixels, is an immersive, interactive exhibit for patrons where Travis asks us to “slow down and remember those the Black community has lost.” The work consists of images that only become clear to the viewer when they stop and interact with them and allows the person to pause and have a personal moment with each piece. The artwork is composed of squares that create a pixelated portrait that is situated upside-down to the viewer. The exhibit is to be viewed through glass orbs that flip the image and condense it, bringing it into sharper focus.
