Open Water Swim Clinic

Join us at Sports Basement Presidio for an exciting Open Water Swim Clinic! Whether you're a beginner looking to improve your technique or a seasoned swimmer wanting to refine your skills, this clinic is perfect for all levels. Safety and knowledge is top priority. 

Our practices will teach you how to become comfortable where you can’t see the bottom, entry/exit, sighting, stroke techniques for different water conditions, race strategy, breathing, learning to sight, navigate, safety and drafting.


About Coach Morgan:

Currently, Morgan is a pool and open water swim coach. She has coached open water practices and led small group events in the SF Bay area since 2009. 

She teaches with Thunder Coast Aquatics in Petaluma. Morgan Filler has been in or on the water since her youth and has traveled the world as a competitive swimmer. She’s been a World Cup ranked marathon swimmer, was on the US National Open Water team, an open water Olympic hopeful, won a16 mile race in Japan, won a 28 mile swim race around Manhattan Island and swam the 21 mile Catalina Channel. She received a Certificate of Merit Award from the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame. She was featured in a Discovery Channel show, “The Battle of the Sexes.” She’s also a surfer, and a mother.
