Her energetic act attempts the impossible — to rescue her girlfriend. ​Crystal Skillman&#x27;s acclaimed solo play, OPEN, is a magic act that reveals itself to be a resurrection. A woman called the Magician presents a myriad of tricks for our entertainment, yet her performance seems to be attempting the impossible—to save the life of her partner, Jenny. But is our faith in her illusions enough to rewrite the past?The clock is ticking, the show must go on, and, as impossible as it may seem, this Magician’s act may be our last hope against a world filled with intolerance and hate.The Other Theater Company will present the return of Jenna Cintavey as The Magician in a limited return engagement as part of Pride at Club Switch in Youngstown, Ohio. In celebration of Pride, The Other Theater Company has chosen to donate all proceeds to a local organization that represent all that Pride represents. We can think of no better group thank our friends as the Rust Belt Theater Company who, under the direction of Robert Dennick Joki, have supported, defended, entertained, and celebrated all members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
