Will there be instruction?

This is not a class, prior knowledge is always encouraged. However we will always have a studio monitor present to help answer any questions you may have. Complete beginners are welcome, but we recommend coming in with a plan.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Nope! We provide the clay and tools.

Question 3

When will my work be ready to take home?

Accepted Answer

Work will be fired within 6 weeks of the date you made it. Make sure you give us the correct email when you register as that is how you will be notified of your works completion.

Question 4

Is this event kid-friendly?

Yes! However your child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to turn away any disruptive children, the pottery studio is a calm environment with very fragile things everywhere.

Can I use the pottery wheel?

Wheels are first come first serve and you must have prior experience to use them.

I missed the date, can I have a refund?

Since the cost of this event is so low, intended for the accessibility of the medium, we cannot offer refunds.

Question 7

Where does my $30 go?

Accepted Answer

All the money we collect for this event goes straight into the studio and it's residents. Studio monitors can use the money they earn working the event to help cover their rent, or if the owner or kiln tech is working these event money goes towards buying more wheels and clay for the studio.
