Mount Olive Lutheran Church

We have consecrated a space for you to be this winter.It is a safe space where we can practice being creative in the company of others - we take care of each other by allowing a lot of space and wearing masks.We believe that creative expression through art is one way we can tend to our emotional and spiritual health during this pandemic time. We are offering weekly studio time so that you might be encouraged in your own artistic practice, or curious about learning something new.

Open Studio time is different that art workshops. Registering for Open Studio means that a table will be reserved for you to do whatever art you choose. Floor tarps and table mats are available, and you bring the supplies for whatever art form you wish to work with. Think watercolors, knitting, mosaics, scrapbooking, charcoal, pastels, card-making, sketching, paper maché...Note that we have limited storage available so that you can store some of your supplies at the studio instead of carting them back and forth each week.

We are limited to 5 people each week (plus facilitators) in order to be safely distanced, and we will wear masks.Registration is required for each week you wish to attend, in order for you to know that a space is reserved for you.Thanks for visiting this page, we hope to see you in the studio!
