OPEN STUDIO PRACTICE

Overview

Come hang out and get creative during a chill open studio session where you can work on whatever inspires you. Bring your pattern & toiles!

This session is designed for sewists who want dedicated time and expert support to work through their own patterns, toiles, and garments.
It is ideal for:

  • Sewists at any level looking to refine the fit of their patterns or garments
  • Anyone working through a tricky toile or block adjustment
  • Students wanting real-time feedback from trained patternmakers
  • Designers and makers who want expert guidance tailored to their specific project

Participants are welcome to come with any project at any stage - from early drafts through to finished garments needing adjustment.

Overview

In this open studio session participants bring their own blocks, patterns, garments, or toiles and work through adjustments with the support of experienced industry patternmakers.

The session is flexible by design, allowing you to focus on whatever your project needs most - whether that is fit corrections, construction questions, fabric decisions, or pattern transfers. You will receive real-time, tailored feedback throughout the session rather than following a fixed curriculum.

A full day or half day option is available depending on how much time you need.
