Open Source Security Software Hackathon

The Computer Incident Response Center Luxembourg (CIRCL) is a government-driven initiative designed to provide a systematic response facility to computer security threats and incidents.CIRCL is the CERT for the private sector, communes and non-governmental entities in Luxembourg.

For the first time, the <A TITLE="Hack.lu Main Page" HREF="http://hack.lu" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">hack.lu</A> team organizes an <A TITLE="Hackathon Main Page" HREF="https://hackathon.hack.lu" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open Source Security Software Hackathon</A>. 
This 2-day Hackathon is dedicated to free/open source software in the field of cybersecurity. The aim is to gather various developer groups to collaborate on challenging programming problems in the field of cybersecurity (from information sharing, network/system forensic, data mining challenges or even crypto-currencies).
On each day, doors will be open from 9AM until 6PM.

FAQs
 
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Not really, but in case you are under 18 please make sure you have permission from your school/parents to participate.
 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Please use the public transport system. The area where the Hackathon is held, Kirchberg, sees an afflux of well over 20k Cars per day. The bus, with it's dedicated lanes will be faster and more convenient. Plus you can read-up on your favorite hacker site :)
 
What can I bring into the event?
Your Laptop, your good mood (or your bad mood so we can hack it :)
No need for power strips, all will be available.
