<h3><strong>What&#x27;s an Open Source Community Sprint?</strong></h3><p><a href="https://salesforce.quip.com/Sv21Apy6MuKB" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Read the FAQ!</a></p><p>Community Sprints are the meet-ups (either in-person or virtually) portion of the <a href="https://powerofus.force.com/s/article/SFDO-OSC-Get-Started" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open Source Commons Program</a>. Open Source Commons provides the space and resources for us all to work toward a better future, together.</p><p>Through Community Sprint events and project team work, we convene individuals from across industries to actively listen, educate and bring passion, experience and technical know-how to projects that can be replicated and shared throughout the Salesforce ecosystem.</p><p>This collaborative approach taps into the collective genius of our community, leading to products and solutions that innovate on real-time challenges faced by the industry.</p><h3><strong>Who attends Community Sprints?</strong></h3><p><em>Salesforce.org is committed to hosting a diverse and inclusive event.  Help us make sure ALL feel invited and welcome at this event, especially those that have never been to a Sprint before. We encourage you to share this event within your network to help with our recruitment efforts. We all want to feel included and sometimes a personal invitation makes all the difference.</em></p><p>How you define your role in the community is a good indicator of the types of activities you will ultimately contribute to during the Sprint.  Those attending generally include System Admins, End Users, Developers, and Consulting/ISV Partners who have:</p><ul><li>Any level of experience using our open source products such as Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), Education Data Architecture (EDA), Program Management Module (PMM), Outbound Funds Module (OFM), and/or Volunteers for Salesforce (V4S)</li><li>Customized Salesforce and our open source products (NPSP, EDA, PMM, OFM, V4S)</li><li>A Power of Us Hub or Trailblazer profile, and is comfortable sharing ideas, answering questions, and making suggestions in the community</li><li>A GitHub Account (don&#x27;t worry, we&#x27;ll show you how to use GitHub if you&#x27;ve never used it before)</li><li>Subject matter contributors who may have limited SF experience but can help inform nonprofit and/or education industry best practices</li><li>A computer</li></ul><h3><strong>Community Sprint Project Offerings</strong></h3><p>During registration you’ll be asked to select the project(s) you have a preference working on in advance. This will help us prepare and get to work quickly when the Community Sprint begins.  <a href="https://salesforce.quip.com/E7ADAEa2sw7l" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Here&#x27;s the list of projects choices selected for the February Sprint</a> if you’d like to review in advance before registering.</p><p>NOTE: Your selections are not a commitment. We just want to get a sense of your interests and consider project capacity.
