Open Scene is an event where groups (or individuals) have 10 minutes to either perform live or to share something they’ve already filmed!
Come to perform or just come to watch cool weird stuff!
What kind of performances are we looking for? Almost anything.
Examples of stuff that we're down for:
A short play
A scene from a play you wrote
A short film
A scene from a film you made
A sketch
A dance
A radio play
A podcast
A game show
A fashion show
Some improv
A magic show
A puppet show
Something else weird!
Did your short play get selected at Crowbait Club but it didn’t win? Put it on here!
Do you want to showcase a live sketch from your sketch group? You can do that!
Do you have a short film you want some people to see? Yes, also this.
Do you want to put on a Gorilla Suit and dance to some techno? Okay!
Please bring whatever makeup, costumes, stage pieces, or props you'll need
$5 to watch, performing groups of more than 5 are capped at $25 (This helps pay for the space, but we are hoping to not have to charge in the future!)
