OPEN Region II Cohort 1 and 2: Bonus Day

We invite you to join us as we learn from other teachers about how they are applying the Idaho Core Standards in their classrooms. Participate in a hands-on workshop as one teacher shares how she investigates text structures to gain deeper comprehension in her classroom. In a second workshop, we will participate and then construct our own Invitation to Notice and Imitate, an inquiry approach to grammar instruction developed by Jeff Anderson that invites students to imitate model sentences while embedding grammar and convention instruction purposefully.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for those who register by Thursday April 30 at noon..
