Open Information Session - Edventure Kids

Edventure Kids is designed to provide full-day activities to support children’s

wellbeing, encourage their engagement in their own learning, and the chance to

explore and broaden their developing interests and abilities over time alongside

other children and supportive adults. We do this by offering Forest Education and

Adventure Days.

Forest Education: A unique, full-day experience where children are immersed in

nature with plenty of opportunities for exploration and imaginative play. While

activities and guidance are provided, the emphasis is on child-led discovery. Kids

might build forts, climb trees, learn outdoor skills like fire-building, or simply explore

wildlife. The mixed-age environment fosters collaboration and communication, while

children develop motor skills, confidence, and a deep connection with the natural

world.

Adventure Days: Our adventures are a unique way to broaden children’s horizons,

support their independence, and enrich learning. From art galleries to community

service, they experience diverse activities, some linked to the curriculum and others

focused on new skills and interests. We encourage children to ask questions,

engage fully, and discover joy in different environments. Beyond the activities

themselves, these experiences foster a strong sense of self, collaboration in mixed-

age groups, and a deeper understanding of the world. Children learn to navigate

public transport, varied settings, and relationships with different people. These

experiences boost critical thinking, curiosity, connection to the world, and

independent learning – invaluable skills that work alongside the learning they do with

their families.
