The Boardwalk opened for tours and reservations back in 2022 with our exisiting air-conditioned building, courtyard, and boardwalk along the St Joseph River in Southwest Michigan. Last year we added a forest lounge for a groom ready room and wider lounge space at our private beach. The past few months have been busy, with multiple improvements for our 2024 season to now include:

  • Reception Garden Tent (3-season covered tent in the former grassland)
  • Studio (Dedicated bridal ready room off the deck)
  • Courtyard Pergola (Grape vines planted in 2022 are now ready to climb and adorn this dancefloor)

We look forward to celebrating all the hard work our team and local vendors have done to improve our guest experience. While we specialize in weddings, all events are welcome at this waterfront venue.

As a wedding and event venue, The Boardwalk is only open to the public by appointment until we have the opportunity to host our own day. All well behaved guests are welcome, including dogs, kids and adults.
