Join us on Oct 28, 2-4:30pm in Hayden Library to celebrate Open Data at MIT, featuring the winners of the inaugural MIT Prize for Open Data.

To highlight the value of open data at MIT, and to encourage the next generation of researchers, the MIT School of Science and the MIT Libraries present the <a href="https://libraries.mit.edu/opendata/open-data-mit-home/mit-prize/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MIT Prize for Open Data</a>.Please join us on October 28, 2022 from 2:00-4:30pm, in Hayden Library&#x27;s Nexus (14S-130) for the “Open Data at MIT” event featuring the prize winners. The program will feature remarks from School of Science Dean Nergis Mavalvala and MIT Libraries Director Chris Bourg, award presentations, and short talks from prize winners. The award ceremony will be followed by a reception for refreshments and networking.Co-sponsored by the MIT School of Science and the MIT Libraries Accessibility: Our events are enriched by your presence and we are committed to making them accessible. Assistive listening devices are already available in The Nexus, but please email ce-lib@mit.edu to request any other accommodations.The Nexus is situated on the first floor of MIT&#x27;s <a href="https://libraries.mit.edu/hayden/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hayden Library</a>, MIT&#x27;s Building 14, located at 160 Memorial Drive. The room is on the river side of the library reading room, behind the Courtyard Cafe and across the room from the library service desk. If you have trouble finding it please ask at the service desk.
