Open Data Day: Training on using measurement lab data followed by hackathon of data vizzing the speed and quality of the global internet

<h2>Do you enjoy visualizing open data? Do you want to learn more about how the Internet works? </h2>As more and more jobs and services become digital-first or even digital-only, access to a high-quality Internet speed is becoming increasingly important and measuring Internet performance is critical to understanding how well we are meeting these demands. On March 8, 2023 Measurement Lab will lead an <a href="https://opendataday.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open Data Day</a> (now Week!) workshop with our ~4 billion row Network Diagnostic Tool open dataset, which receives “speed” tests from 3-4m users per day globally. In the morning we will discuss more about how the Internet works and how M-Lab others and measure it. Then in the afternoon we’ll discuss how to analyze the data, and work together to visualize it and effectively communicate our findings.
