Event Series Description
The Pathfinder Projects and Jisc warmly invite you to a summer series of open access (OA) events to celebrate the end of the two-year <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://www.jisc.ac.uk/rd/projects/open-access-good-practice" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open Access Good Practice</A> (OAGP) initiative.
The work undertaken over the last two years by the <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://openaccess.jiscinvolve.org/wp/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">nine community-led Pathfinder Projects</A> falls under five themes: advocacy, cost management, workflows and structures, metadata and systems, and baselining and policy.
We are holding five events across the UK to showcase what has been achieved in these five categories.
All events are free and suitable for librarians, research officers, and other institutional support staff who work in the area of OA.

Workflows and Structures: 27th June, University of Manchester
At this event, hosted by the opeNWorks project, attendees will be introduced to a variety of tools and resources devised by project members in order to help manage institutional OA workflows and structures. Project participants will also share their experiences of best practice approaches in these areas.
Breakout sessions in the afternoon will provide attendees the opportunity to learn more about and discuss the "Approaches to Deposit" case studies released by the opeNWorks project, as well as the LOCH project's Lean review of their OA workflows.
