Packed a few pounds during quarantine? Is the body getting stiff? Would you like to gain strength before yoga day? You are at the right place...

Summer Solstice is a great time to take up a Sun Salutations Challenge! This is when sun is at its peak and reflecting in abundance. We will offer our practice in the form of gratitude to earth this Yoga Day!

Will this be tough? Perhaps...however, we assure to start at a steady pace with just 30 minute sessions 1st 3 weeks and then build up the strength to see it through by Yoga Day! Its important to remember that we are in this together and we are taking this up as as a challenge! When a group of people take a challenge with friends and family, the group synergy not only makes it easier but brings in the element of celebration :) We may take up the challenge of offering anywhere between 18-108 cycles of Sun Salutations. It takes close to two hours to complete all 108 rounds, perhaps some of us will get ready for it this year! Irrespective of where we get, we guarantee to have fun along the way :) Are you up for it? The purpose of this event page is to explore the time tested methods to 'spring into life' amidst any crisis, small or big! I am a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), ERYT 500 and a faculty with the Art of Living Foundation since 1999. Our team teaches a variety of online specialized classes & retreats including breathwork, postures, meditation with yogic insights for healthy living and have offered programs at DMV, Micron, Intel, Blue Shields to name a few in the Sac region.
