Oct 15 to Oct 16
Overview

To equip caregivers with the knowledge and practical tools to support emotional regulation in both themselves and their children.

This class will take place online on Zoom. Please see the FAQ at the bottom of the page for more information.

Join Melanie Ripple, LMSW of the Samaritan Center, to learn the power of a "Me. Us. You." approach: how personal regulation leads to co-regulation, ultimately empowering your child to build lifelong self-regulation skills.

Raising or caring for children can be both rewarding and incredibly challenging, especially when emotions run high. This interactive 1-hour workshop is designed to equip caregivers with the knowledge and practical tools to support emotional regulation in both themselves and their children.

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Understand the basics of self-regulation and co-regulation
  • Identify common signs of emotional dysregulation in children and adults
  • Learn simple, effective nervous system regulation strategies for times of stress or pressure

Children's regulation begins with you! When you self-regulate, you create the calm your child needs to feel safe, connected, and capable of managing their own emotions. Join us to learn the power of a "Me. Us. You." approach: how personal regulation leads to co-regulation, ultimately empowering your child to build lifelong self-regulation skills.

It starts with you. It grows through connection.
