About this event

This workshop is designed to help customers learn the basics of how to look for jobs online and fill out online applications.  

Topics include: 

  • Understanding what Uploading and Downloading terms mean
  • Opening and saving documents to desktop from flash drive
  • Practice filling out a pre-chosen online generic practice application
  • Uploading and Downloading a document

A mask will be required if there are more than 10 people in attendance.

 *Basic computer skills are required for this workshop.

  *To participate in all activities in the workshop you will need a flash drive with a resume or document to upload onto the computer. Flash drive is not required but is needed if possible.  

 

The Wichita Workforce Center is located at 2021 N. Amidon, Suite 1100 in the New Leaf Plaza. Parking is free in the lot in front of the building.

 

Prior to the session you must go to www.KANSASWORKS.com and register for a free job seeker account. Or please visit your local workforce center for assistance. If you do not register on KANSASWORKS.com 1 day in advance you will not be allowed to complete the workshop.

 

Please report to the Front Desk and check in no later than 5 minutes before the start time listed. No one will be admitted late to the workshop.
