About this Event

Capital Heights MC Odd Mojo brings a new type of retro sound and old school flow back to today’s hip-hop scene. Boasting self-love awareness with witty wordplay, Mojo presents a deeply confessional catalogue of familiar insecurities and anxieties over a jazzy, minimalist production. Graduating from her sophomore mixtape, her latest work is a theatrical and dynamic production of raw emotion and growth. Expect Mojo to bring all of this to the stage, and she’ll expect the crowd to chop along with her. her music, video

Not.Alone is a band? Collective? Set of musical brothers? (Yeah, sure) The trio of genre-splicing creatives from the DMV (D.C., Maryland, and Virginia), consists of multi-instrumentalist DAETA, singer Marc Amour, and rapper Nomad the Native who pull inspiration from jazz, hip-hop, and soul music to create a musical chimera that moves as freely on stage as it does on wax. Not.Alone makes music that mixes Hip Hop, R&B, and Jazz music with additional influences from a wide array of musical influences. The group has performed all around the DMV, playing at Songbyrd Music House, Velvet Lounge, Funk Parade, and The Black Cat with their sights set on performing on many more stages. their music, video
