One on One Computer Assistance

One-on-one computer assistance will be provided twice weekly at the Franklin branch of the Detroit Public Library.

• Tuesdays: 6 - 7 PM

• Saturdays: 1-2 PM

Customers are encouraged to ask questions including, but not limited to, regarding the following computer topics:

• Typing and navigation

• File formats and conversion (PDF, JPEG, DOCX, MP3, MP4, AVI, etc.)

• Email

• Google Apps (Drive, Maps, etc.)

• Microsoft Office Apps (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.)

• Windows Apps (Paint, Calculator, Notepad)

• Searching the web (Precise wording of search queries, Boolean operators, etc.)

• Online job hunting

• Resume building
