One Night Only: Third Annual Tirade Tournament

Eight of the Midwest's top comedians compete for the title of "Midwest Rant Champion" in this one-of-a-kind comedy competition that has become a "must see" annual event.

Comedy performers from across the region competed for a qualifying spot in the tournament by placing in a qualifying contest where they were assigned a random subject to rant about. The top eight scoring performers advanced to the Tirade Tournament, where they will be assigned random topics and emotions from the audience and be challenged to improvise a rant on the spot with no advance preparation.

Participants will be scored by judges and audience applause. The winner of the tournament will receive a cash prize, and be crowned with the coveted title “Midwest Rant Champion.”

The Tirade Tournament was created by nationally touring comedian Jamie Campbell, who will host the event.
