This is a multidisciplinary performance featuring live painting by visual artist Virginia Steck Johnson alongside contemporary classical music by Philip Glass and Jörg Widmann. Audiences will watch an original canvas being created in real time, inspired by the music.

Yes — she will create a canvas in real time in response to the music, allowing the audience to witness the artistic process from start to finish.

Accepted Answer

We will hold a silent auction after the performance where you can also get to mingle, meet the artists, and take a closer look at the piece Virginia created. Proceeds will support our future programming and projects!
