YOUR VOICE MATTERS! Join us for ON THE TABLE
On the Table Greater Akron is a one-of-a-kind initiative created by Akron Community Foundation where thousands of diverse residents from all walks of life gather together to share a meal and discuss meaningful ideas to strengthen our community. Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Summit County is invited to mealtime conversation with their family, friends, neighbors or colleagues.
Summit County Public Health will be hosting multiple conversations at our Fairway Center Auditorium from 8:30-10:30am on Wednesday, Oct. 3 and we invite you to join us for breakfast and conversation.  We'll be focusing on the following topics:
     Economic Issues and Poverty, such as unemployment, income inequality, cycle of poverty/generational poverty, economic revitalization, community resources, population growth/decline, aging
     Equity and Social Inclusion, such as racism, sexism, ageism, LGBTQ issues, youth and social inclusion, social isolation, cross cultural sensitivity
Tickets for this event are FREE, but registration is required.
