1.	What do I have to bring to class?

You don't have to bring anything, but we recommend bringing a long-sleeve shirt or sweater, in the case you are sensitive to low A/C temperatures. For our equipment classes, we also advise wearing close-toed shoes.

2.	Is there an age restriction for ʻŌlelo’s classes?

Accepted Answer

We teach students of ALL ages, from keiki to kupuna. However, minors who are 13 years of age or less have to be accompanied at all times by an adult and students who are below 18 years old need parental consent to take our classes.

3.	Do I have to be an ‘Ōlelo Community Media member to sign up for this class?

Accepted Answer

No, you don't have to be a member to attend a class. Membership is only required if you wish to check out equipment or air content on ʻŌlelo’s channels.

What is the cost of ʻŌlelo’s membership?

Accepted Answer

ʻŌlelo membership is free for all Oʻahu residents.

What services are included in ʻŌlelo’s membership?

Accepted Answer

ʻŌlelo members can submit video content/programming to ‘Ōlelo’s on air TV and online channels, check out equipment, or use ‘Ōlelo’s editing or studio facilities. Note: some services require taking advanced classes or passing a certification test.
