As we continue our exploration of American Single Malt Whiskey (ASMW) we turn our sights to a distillery in Baltimore, MD making some really fun expressions of ASMW. Please join us in welcoming Old Line Spirits. They also make rum and vodka but the American Single Malt Whiskey is where their passion lies. We’re excited to welcome the co-founder and head distiller, Mark McLaughlin to walk us through the lineup and tell us all about their process.

Flagship 95 American Single Malt

Madeira Cask Finish American Single Malt

Speaker Bio: Mark McLaughlin, Co-Founder

Mark is Co-Founder of Old Line Spirits, a distiller and rectifier of spirits in Baltimore, MD. Old Line is one of the foremost producers of American Single Malt Whiskey in the country and has risen to prominence, garnering dozens of awards and 90+ point ratings in top industry competitions and publications.

Prior to co-founding Old Line Spirits, Mark spent 10 years in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Flight Officer flying the EA-6B Prowler, an aircraft carrier-based electronic attack aircraft, and two years as an investment banker with Stifel Financial Corp.

Mark graduated from Villanova University in 2001 with a BA in History and from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business in 2012 with an MBA.
