Join The Players Club on September 26th for our handpicked Old Forester Bourbon selection tasting. This one-of-a-kind evening will feature four bottles and a four-course dinner prepared by our Culinary Director, Mike Ellis. Start with Grit Stuffed Prawn: 2019 Shrimp and Grits Fest Winner, wrapped in bacon, served with corn jam, balsamic reduction, and wasabi foam. Paired with: Old Forester 86 CocktailJourney onwards with a grilled winter squash salad: tart apple, cranberry, creamy toasted pecan bourbon vinaigrette. Pairing with: Old Forester 100, NeatEnjoy our main course with Lamb T-Bone Chops: Pittsburg-style charred lamb, mint julep gastrique, smoked carrots, green pea serrano puree, and smoked parmesan. Drink with: Old Forester Rye, NeatEnd with a chocolate peanut butter fudge terrine: Nutter butter crust, whipped smoked vanilla cream. Paired with: Old Forester Prohibition 1920, Neat.Most well-known for its bourbon whiskey, Old Forester is officially the oldest bourbon offered on store shelves since being founded in 1870. Old Forester’s distillery is located in Louisville, Kentucky and is still run by members of the founding family. Old Forester Bourbon tasting includes Old Forester 86, Old Forester 100, Old Forester Rye, and Old Forester 1920 Prohibition.
