About this event

The Oklahoma Youth Department is committed to helping every student in our district live a victorious, meaningful life for God. Part of this effort is based on understanding that a positive home life is an essential part to helping those students. For this reason, each April the Oklahoma Youth Ministries supports a Marriage Retreat that is underwritten by Move The Mission.

This year's retreat will be held at Sequoyah State Park in Hulbert, OK on April 26-27. This retreat is a fun and relaxing time for married couples of all ages to learn and grow in their relationship. Our guest speakers will be Pastor Jason & Natalie Huckaby, from Blue Springs, MO. You will be blessed and challenged to uphold the Biblical approach to a healthy marriage.

This casual, low-key weekend takes place on beautiful Fort Gibson Lake, and is full of great food, lots of friends, and plenty of much needed down time. Whether you enjoy outside games, scenic walks, golf, fishing or just relaxing with your spouse, you don’t want to miss the Oklahoma Marriage Retreat. It is an investment worth making.

If you wish not to stay at the Lodge, you may register to participate in all the sessions and meals.

Do you own an RV? Sequoyah State Park features beautiful campgrounds if you'd like to camp during this year's retreat. You will want to purchase the registration ticket without lodging and book your RV site directly through Sequoyah State Park.

Marriage Retreat is a casual, low-key and relaxing weekend so casual dress is appropriate.

Does Sequoyah State Park feature any recreational activies?

You and your spouse can enjoy outside games, scenic walks, golf or just relax. The Lodge features many hangout areas where you can play games and visit with friends, so bring your favorite game from home!

Do I have to stay at The Lodge?

If you wish not to stay at The Lodge, you may purchase the limited registration ticket. This exempts you from lodge accommodations, but allows you to participate in all the sessions and meals.

We love to camp! Can I bring my RV?

Sequoyah State Park features beautiful campgrounds if you would like to camp during the retreat. You will want to purchase the limited registration ticket and book your RV site directly through Sequoyah State Park

What time should we arrive on Friday?

Dinner will be served at 6PM, but you are welcome to arrive anytime in the afternoon to spend time in the park, check in to your room or hang out with friends.

As a department of the Oklahoma District United Pentecostal Church International, we partner with churches to impact student ministries. It is our mission to reach students seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ and equip those who have already been born again. We accomplish this through an annual convention, sectional and district events, and summer youth camps. Our events and ministries are made possible with funds from our annual fundraising effort, Move The Mission. MTM supports local and global ministries within the UPCI.
