Locker Rooms:

WE RECOMMEND LIMITED USE OF THE LOCKER ROOM. SWIMMERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ARRIVE AT PRACTICE IN THEIR SWIMSUITS. The locker rooms are for changing, not for hanging out. If you must use the locker room, bring your belongings onto the pool deck with you or lock them in a locker.

Practice Attire:

ODST requires a competitive style swimsuit, swim goggles, and, if a swimmer’s hair is long enough to fall to eye level, a swim cap for swim practice and meets, starting the 2nd week of practice. Any brand or color is OK, navy blue is preferred. The closest shop to Foster is Xebio Sports. It is about 4km South on the convention center/58-bypass road, out the Foster commissary gate, turn left, then veer right onto the convention center road. There are also many online choices. There is no need to purchase an expensive suit. Why a special suit? Wearing a competitive suit vs. board shorts allows the swimmer to perform skills properly, think running in running shoes vs. boots.

ODST Boosters: The boosters lead fund-raising to help off-set out-of-pocket costs for off-base swim meets. ODST Boosters E-mail: odstboosters@gmail.com THE ODST BOOSTERS ARE A NON-FEDERAL ENTITY. THE BOOSTERS ARE NOT A PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE OR ANY OF ITS COMPONENTS, AND THE BOOSTERS HAVE NO GOVERNMENTAL STATUS.

Lightning/Thunder Policy

Any occurrence of lightning or thunder within 25-minutes of a practice start time will cancel that practice.

• If lightning or thunder occurs during practice, all swimmers will be moved into the locker rooms and practice is cancelled.

• If in doubt, contact the pool: 645-2211 | 098-970-2211

Transportation

All swim team participants will be expected to find their own transportation to and from practice.
