This year we are kicking it up a notch and adding a Friday Night Show as a Kick Off to the Ojai Blues Fest.

Those lucky folks who join us Friday night will be treated to Two Amazing Performances.

Our Headliner for Friday is one of the Leading Ladies of the Los Angeles Blues Scene None Other that Deb Ryder.

Deb Ryder is an American blues singer and songwriter. She has released five albums since 2013, although her involvement in music spans decades in various capacities. Deb was one of our performers at our very first Ojai Blues Fest.

Opening the our First Ever Friday Night Show is none other than RJ Mischo.

R.J. Mischo (born March 18, 1960) is an American electric blues harmonicist, singer, songwriter, and record producer. To date he has released twelve albums on a number of labels, and his music has been aired on independent film scores, television commercials, and documentaries on the Discovery Channel. Mischo has contributed to a couple of Mel Bay harmonica instruction books. A very nice guy and a wonderful performer. RJ will make you into a fan I guarantee.

Deb will be performing until 9:30 Pm for your dancing & Listening pleasure.

We are very excited to be expanding our event and this is only possible because of your ongoing support of our event over the last 8 shows. We Love you all and are Supremely Grateful for the opportunity to put on this show each year.

SATURDAY JUNE 1st!!!

We will be kicking off our Saturday with Yours Truly and a Few Friends.

Crooked Eye Tommy and Friends will be playing on and off all Day between sets on the main stage and at the end for a Barn Burning Jam Session

We have some amazing performers Lined up for you on Saturday.

First Off a Local Legend and a sweet soul. Dianne Miller has been a performer at events at The Ojai Art Center over the years. Her voice is strong and her performances are formidable. She always brings her A game and we are excited to add her to the list of Ojai Blues Fest Performers.

Second Up at This years Ojai Blues Fest is a friend of mine and likely many of your know and love him. I talking about another OJAI Mainstay. He likes his guitars heavy and has a voice to match. Powerful energy and a great cat. I talking about Big Joe Billingiere and Blues Bullet.

In the # 3 Spot on OBF's Saturday is coming to you fresh off his trip to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee. I have known this "Red Headed Stepchild" for over 10 years and I will say that of all of my friends who play guitar Pat McClure has a deeper than reality blues streak. Dark and Moody, his guitar power comes from well below the surface. Gritty and as soulful as you have ever heard Pat McClure "aka" Red Headed Stepchild will not disappoint.

Rounding out Saturdays Lineup is a Blues Guitarist from the greater Los Angeles area where has has a large following of loyal fans.

Mark Sells leads his power trio with the style that is best described as hi-intensity blues-rock. Mark Sells plays in the style of Hendrix, Carlos Santana, SRV, Albert Collins, and Freddie King. Mark Sells and his band continue to garner rave reviews for their live shows and original tunes penned by bandleader/guitarist/vocalist Mark Sells.

Mark Sells’s engaging, live performances are known for their passion, intensity, and dynamics. From foot stompin’ rockin’ blues, to whisper soft guitar licks, this is blues played straight from the heart. Mark Sells has opened for many blues top groups and international artists over the years, including the late Johnny Winter, Tommy Castro Band, Coco Montoya, & Chicago Blues Reunion. Mark Sells and his trio continues to play regularly at many live music venues & festivals throughout California.

This is the Line up for the 2024 Ojai Blues Fest..

BUT..... I reserve the right to add some additional Special Guests and I will share these guests as we get closer.

This is a Great Line Up of Artists and I know you all will love this show...
