Shilpa Kancharla's Oil Painting for Beginners will give you the opportunity to learn how to paint still life using simple subject matter. During this session, Shilpa will teach you how to use materials to create your own oil painting, how to mix colors from a limited palette, and you will learn about lighting and composition when it comes to creating a still life. By the end of the class, you will have a still life painting that you can sign and take home.

All materials are included in the ticket price.

Shilpa Kancharla is an oil painter, potter, and printmaker based in San Francisco. She uses her understanding of color theory to attempt to make every scenes and objects more interesting. You can find more of her work on Instagram at @shilpakancharlastudio.
