Learn to paint with oils to create pictures full of bright colors and interesting textures. You’re invited to use different brushes and tools to make your art. Feel free to paint what you like and show your style. This class is great for everyone, whether you're just starting or have painted a bit before.
You can expect to finish one or two canvases during this class as you enjoy painting.
Student Supplies for Oil Painting 101
Canvas: Please bring 1 or 2 canvases of a small to medium size.

Paint set: Students should bring a full color spectrum of paint hues.

Brushes: A simple set of small to medium brushes will be sufficient.

Please remember to bring an image of what you want to paint, such as a pet or a favorite vacation. You can also choose to recreate a favorite painting by another artist. For example, choose a picture of your pet or your favorite place. We will supply easels, seats, solvents, cups, and a rag for drying off your brushes. You can wash out your brushes with soap in our paint sinks.
