Category 1: Prescribed Medication and Health Related Activities Presented by: Megan Ridley, RN
Course Description:
In this class, the DD personnel will learn how to administer oral and topical medications and perform the 13 health related activities specified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.
This class is 14 hours at a MINIMUM this will consist of engaged learning time in the class room and does not include lunch or break time. (Bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks.)
The course may be lengthened longer on the needs of the class participants and/or the RN trainer.
Eligibility Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Agency employee or Independent Provider
- No disqualifying results received from background checks required by rule OAC 5123-2-02
