Description

In commemoration of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, April 8-14, 2018, Network for Victim Recovery of DC (NVRDC) invites you to the official launch of the Victim Legal Network of DC (VLNDC).

VLNDC, coordinated by NVRDC, is a seamless network of high-quality, well-trained legal providers who include: Amara Legal Center, Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, Ayuda, Break the Cycle, Central American Resource Center, DC Volunteer Lawyers Project, Legal Aid Society, Legal Counsel for the Elderly, and Washington College of Law's Domestic Violence Clinic.

VLNDC is one of ten networks around the country formed in response to the release of Vision 21: Transforming Victim Services by the Office of Victims of Crime. VLNDC is supported by the DC's Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants.

Please join us for lunch and to learn more about how VLNDC and its partners are expanding the circle of services in the District!

Thank you to Arent Fox for providing this fantastic venue for our VLNDC launch!

This event is supported by a National Crime Victims' Right Week Community Awareness Project subgrant awarded by the National Association of VOCA Assistance Administrators under a Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grant from the Office for Victims of Crime, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.
