Official GWHSC Upstate Event: Opossum Creek Falls Hike and Beach Picnic

This hike feature elevation change (~800ft) leading to a waterfall and beach area along the Chattooga. Absolutely beautiful scenery, but there are some slightly technical spots. This is not a beginner hike- for moderately experienced hikers. As such, please no kids. Dogs (on leash) welcome, but please make sure they are also strong hikers. That being said, this is a gorgeous trail! Bring snacks/lunch/bathing suit for a picnic and swim at the beach before heading back. We can stop for as long as anyone likes! Hope to see you there! :)
